My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Destiny is a sweet, energetic 1 year old spayed female Border Collie mixed with Labrador. She is very social and loves to meet new people. Desi has lived successfully with children over age 10 and with cats. She is crate and house trained. Destiny came back into rescue through no fault of her own. Her adoptive family was suddenly overwhelmed with the health needs of one of their special needs children. Destiny plays well with other dogs and is submissive to those who are pushy toward her.

She rides well in the car and would love to go for hikes or to obedience or possibly agility classes with her new owner. She has an affinity to follow her nose, so tracking class may be enjoyable for her and her new owners. She will need a family who is committed to helping her continue with her training. She has some basic obedience skills such as sit and down, is crate trained, and walks well on leash, although she may pull at times. She is up to date on vaccines, has been on Heart-worm and flea/tick prevention and is already spayed.
