Hi, I'm Blackie! I barely have any brown on me and I'm the most beautifully dark black boy. I love playing with all people and dogs
I love barking and running outside. I like to "ambush" my siblings when they run by me. I nip them in the behind and then roll over to show them my belly, so they know I'm just playing. I'm a goofy boy!
These puppies have been handled since the day they were born. They love small children (the foster kids are 2 and 5). They have been around 4 other dogs (a Dachshund, a Beagle, a Chi-weenie and a Pitt mix) and get along with all of them. They are very calm for puppies and are all very happy dogs. None of them have anxiety about being held, or left alone or with loud noises. They are great dogs! Most of them use the doggy door to go outside to use the bathroom instead of using their pen. They are eating solid food, with a little canned food mixed in and drinking water. DOB 1/27/2017

There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.
Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org, faxed to 919-300-5524, or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center).
We will contact you as soon as possible once we receive your application for Blackie.
