Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Buck is roughly 10 years old and about 16.2 lbs. He is so super sweet! He loves being around people! Especially men! He loves to play and going for long walks! He is also great with kids good around other dogs. We are have not had him around cats so we are not sure how he is with them. He is a runner though and needs to go to a home with a fenced yard. Buck is an absolute love and is looking for his new family.
Buck's History:
Buck needed out of the shelter after his owner dropped him off with his food, treats and a weird hard plastic ball that was a mangled mess from chewing His dad said he dropped him off because he was a runner and he kept getting out and he didn't want to have to deal with that anymore. Apparently there's a little more to this boy's story than his dad shared. This sweet guy has a scar wrapped twice around his leg and a huge scar on his face as well as what appears to be several bite marks. We may never know what this sweet boy's past looked like but we can certainly assure him that his future will be filled with nothing but love!
Buck's Medical:
He needed an extremely expensive dental which we got for him, he needed his canines removed and several other teeth. In the end, they pulled a total of 7 teeth, most likely due to his chewing the plastic ball out of sheer boredom!
Buck has an adoption fee of $450

**IMPORTANT DETAILS - PLEASE READ**
An application must be filled out before consideration for adoption. Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to commit a lifetime to him/her. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit group of animal lovers. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to pay our current medical bills for our dogs as well as any future dogs we rescue as well.
As an adopter, you must be prepared to accept the fact that these dogs are rescues and, just like you and I, they all have their own individual personalities. In most cases, these little ones have been through a difficult journey that started when their family gave them up or they became lost. They may have been under stress, neglected or even abused in their past life or frightened by being left alone on the streets to fend for themselves.
Our number one focus is finding these little loves a wonderful forever home with a family who is going to care for them and show them what it is like to be loved, a safe environment, a full belly and a warm bed. These sweet babies do not ask for much from you but they may require a little patience and understanding.
WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to come look at a dog We will contact you once we have received and reviewed your completed application. A Home visit as well as a reference check MUST be completed before a meet & greet can be scheduled. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
