My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Abe landed at animal control after someone found him and noticed he was walking weird. Luckily for him, an awesome foster reached out and wanted to take a medical case so we pulled Abe for her! He went straight to our vet and it was discovered that nothing is broken and he may have CH (Cerebellar Hypoplasia). CH is where the part of the brain that controls motor functions isn't completely developed at birth. It is a non-progressive disease so it won't get worse as the kitty gets older. Some cats have it more severe than others and have a harder time walking and some can't walk at all. However, Abe seems to have mild CH as he can get around and is just a bit unsteady. He seems well adjusted to it though and has learned to just be a little cautious when taking steps.

Abe was not neutered and extremely stinky when we got him. He looks like he had a hard time living on the streets and was a bit beat up. Life is changing for Abe though!! He lost the family jewels, got cleaned up, and is being spoiled rotten in his foster home. He'll make a great best friend to someone! He is quite the talker and can hold up his end of a conversation. He's a really friendly guy and will follow you around like a dog when not snuggling with you. He's just a great kitty and deserves the best from here on out!
