Josie's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Sweet Josie was such a shelter favorite , the volunteers begged us to help her when her status was urgent and no other rescue was able to help her .

Josie was passed over because she is Heartworm positive and the treatment is lengthy, costly and can be risky . Luckily, we have a wonderful foster who agreed to care for her during her 3 month treatment plan and follow the restrictions needed to help her recover.

Heartworm treatment is costly however and we are reaching out to our wonderful donors an followers to help us pay for her heartworm treatment . Donations can be made via Paypal, on her Giving Grid or via check.

Josie is wonderful with people of all sizes as well as dogs. Cats are an unknown.

If you are not yet approved to adopt from All Shepherd Rescue, please fill out our online application at www.allshepherdrescue.com. Our adoption fee is $300.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Josie, a Baltimore German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Baltimore, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Baltimore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baltimore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baltimore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baltimore paves the way for another one to be saved.
