Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Name: KeeKee
Sex: Female
Breed: Pit Mix
Mix Age: 1 ½ years old
Weight: 36 lbs
Good with: People and dogs. Not tested with cats and kids.
Hello there! My name is Keekee and I am an adorable, friendly, entertaining girl.
I love so many things I don’t know where to begin. I love stuffed toys that squeak and will leap off the couch at every opportunity to pounce on them.
Chewing on long-lasting chews like bully sticks and Himalayan chews is one of my favorite ways to pass the time. I am crate trained and will happily spend time in my crate, especially if I have stuffed Kongs in there with me.
I am a snuggler, big time. I LOVE it! On the bed, on the couch….I don’t care. I’ll snuggle with you anywhere.
Going on walks is a lot of fun, too. Foster mom and dad are helping me learn to walk well on a leash. I try to greet everyone we see, but I am told that is not always the best way to be. I find those squirrels and birds very exciting, so we are working on that, too.
I have a medium amount of energy but I can get pretty excited when I see other dogs, as well as cats. I am friendly but can get carried away in my exuberance. I am in training to learn how to control myself better. Food is a very good motivator for me. I do love food.
Because I am enthusiastic about life, I probably would do best in a home without young children. Wouldn’t want to knock anyone over by accident, would I?
(Oh, they want me to tell you I am housebroken. I find it embarrassing to speak about that in public, but I guess that’s important. I had an accident or two in my new foster home when I first got here – that happens to the best of us – but now I’m good at pottying outside.)
So, what do you say? Don’t you think I sound just about perfect?? I can’t wait to meet you!!
