Megan's Story...

(ID #147) Hi, my name is Megan.

I was taken from my previous owner because I was being neglected and not cared for properly. So I was brought to the shelter in the hopes of finding a new home. Do you have room in your heart and your home for me??

I am a young lady, around one year old and weigh around 40 pounds. I have already been spayed, given my basic shots, microchipped, and am heartworm negative.

I am being sponsored by Sheltered Paws Dog Rescue. That means they are providing you with a getting started Goodie Bag when you adopt me. The bag contains a collar, leash, ID tag, training DVD, CD with helpful articles, booklet with training information, toy, treats, and a certificate for a FREE canine behaviour consultation.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Megan, a Cincinnati Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Boxer for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Boxer dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Boxer breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
