Here's what the humans have to say about me:
How do you do, friends? My name is Gideon. I’m a 10 year old gentleman weighing in at 47 pounds. I was surrendered to a shelter in North Alabama by my owner and was in pretty rough shape. The shelter knew I would need extra love and care so they contacted AGB to take me in. AGB is taking care of my medical needs but they found I need more than just basic neutering, vaccinations and microchipping. I am underweight so they are working on that and feeding me good, nutritious food. They also found I had some sight issues so they sent me to a doggy ophthalmologist. My ears were also badly infected and it made it hard for me to hear. I also have some itchy skin and hair loss. My AGB friends are giving me medicines now and 3/27/17 - I already feel much better but I will need some surgery on my eyes to help me see better. I'm a sweet fella who only wants to give love and be loved in return. I like car rides and prefer to ride shotgun in the seat next to you. I am friendly with other dogs and I’m housetrained. One of the best things about AGB is that they will let an adopter who is 65 years or older adopt me for free in the Seniors for Seniors program. You really should check that out and come see me. I hope to meet you soon. PS…If you want to make a donation of any amount to help with my medical care, I would really appreciate it. Thank you!
