Hershey is a 30 lb, 1 year old pit bull/ hound mix. He is very sweet and loyal and likes men, women, children and other dogs. I'm not sure about cats. He is playful and a cuddler and has the cutest smile. He goes to the door when he has to go potty. He's quiet in his crate at bedtime as long as he can see you, but does not like to be in the crate for more than 2-3 hours during the day time and will chew right through a plastic crate, so a metal crate is best. He needs supervision, as he will chew on things and jump over gates. He has separation anxiety. He is easily distracted when outside, and is a flight risk. He would do well in a home that will dedicate time for basic training and help with his separation anxiety. He enjoys doggy daycare or someone to be home with him during the day and give him exercise and TLC. Fully vetted and neutered. $200 adoption fee. Call Teri at 630-897-7454.
