Meet this gorgeous girl named Trixie! She is full of life at 10 years old. She is a sturdy gal at 62 pounds. Trixie has classic good looks and a killer smile! She came into our rescue because her owner was convicted of animal cruelty over 5 years ago. Because she is a survivor of animal cruelty, she needs a special home. She needs a consistent routine and someone who is patient. Trixie will do best with someone who is experienced with large powerful dogs. Although Trixie has never shown negative behavior towards children, we do not recommend children or cats. She is not dog aggressive but prefers her own space. Trixie's wonderful qualities are once she trusts you; she loves you forever and ever. Smart and funny, she still has a lot of life and a lot of love to give a very special person. Could you be her special person? Trixie is living at the Downtown Dog Rescue kennel in South Gate and she would love a visitor! Come meet Trixie! Trixie is already spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, crate-trained, house-trained, and good with people.
