My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beckham became a part of our family in 2012. He is 6 years old. He has been such a sweet boy and loved member of the family. We have had more children since he came to live with us, totaling four children now on a single income, and we just can't give him the time he deserves. His care is also unfortunately straining our family budget. We love him very much, and we want to see him in a loving and safe home with someone who will give him the attention he needs.

His personality is very playful. He craves interaction, and he craves being held and snuggled. He loves riding around in cars. If you're sitting on the couch, he will want to sit down beside you and snuggle. He just wants to go anywhere you're going. He is a sweet friend to our family and kids. Great with other dogs.

Great with kids, great with visitors, great with other dogs. He is not very well-mannered in that he jumps all over visitors when they come to visit, but he always lets you know before someone rings the door bell. He will bark at other dogs and whatever is going on outside, and he is very keen on "new things" coming around the house.

We just cut his hair for the spring, but he does have very long white/black/grey hair that does require ongoing maintenance. He looks like a dog fit for a queen if we let his hair grow long.
