Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Vechtar was brought to us barely alive. He was found out in the cold, unable to move. We rushed him to the vet for immediate care. At the vet his temperature did not register for several hours after being admitted to the vet. He weighed 36 pounds and could not stand or walk. We he was stable, he was released from the vet. For his care here, he had multiple small feedings throughout the day and he would need to be carried or helped to walk outside to potty. Vechtar has had a long recovery road and is now weighing in at 65 pounds and is a very active boy, so a home with children 14 years or older is recommended for him. He will need someone that can take a leadership role in his life. He still eats his food fast so a bloat bowl is recommended. Vechtar is all about balls! He loves to play ball and they quickly grab his attention. He is a very intelligent boy that has learned to do multiple obstacles in our exercise yard, his favorite is the tunnel! Vechtar is a very special boy to us here at the shelter and certainly deserves a second chance! You must have an approved adoption application prior to meeting this guy.
