Penelope: Good Dog!'s Story...
Penelope is a senior beagle who was quite obviously a bit spoiled where she came from. Her round tummy is testament to that! Nel is seven to eaight years old. She got lost from her family during last month's big windstorm and they never came to claim her. Now spayed, heartworm tested and fully vaccinated. Requested donation is $65. Peanut is dog friendly and OK with cats. She is fostered in our home now. Housebroken. Likes long leash walks. And does not require a crate to behave at night.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Penelope: Good Dog!, a Cincinnati Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
