Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Boomer is a lively boy, and he is always up for a long walk or ride in the car. He is great with other dachshunds, loves to play and snuggle. Boomer is partial to men (he follows my husband everywhere) but he is fine with humans of all ages. He's friendly and has a happy disposition. He's very trim and in great shape, he's not a typical food hound like most dachshunds. Boomer would make such a great pet for a retired person, or someone who wants a dog to be a part of their daily routine. He's also crate trained if you needed to use that option for short periods of time, but he prefers to be on a comfy bed or up on the couch.
