My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dolores is beautiful, spunky torbie who has a very strong personality. She was surrendered by her previous caretaker who could not afford to care for her.

Dolores is outgoing and extremely affectionate with people but she dislikes other animals. Dolores frequently swats at her foster feline roommates as an attempt to dominate attention from people. So Dolores will need to be the only animal in her new family.

Dolores is a vocal busy body who needs to be the center of her people's’ lives. She likes to “help” with housework by sitting on the garbage bag or the dust pan, meowing for attention. She has not been exposed to a computer but she will likely be the kind of cat who sits on the computer keyboard while her human tries to type.

Dolores loves to interact with her people but she can be nippy when she does not get her way or is over-stimulated; but her love bites are usually gentle. Dolores is such a lovely and affectionate cat; it is impossible to ignore her. By the way, Dolores absolutely loves her catnip toys! So human, be prepared to not get much done when Dolores Her Majesty is around. Because of Dolores’ nippy tendency, she will not be good with young children.

Dolores is however, a very cuddly lap cat, who loves to be held and petted. A quite mature home with very little changes will likely be a good fit for this regal lady.

Update: Dolores is now bonded with a kitten named Princess Leia, a gorgeous silver tabby born on 04/06/2017. Dolores is helping Princess Leia recover from chronic intestinal infection by being her surrogate mom. The two are often found grooming and snuggling with each other. It will be wonderful if this “mother and daughter team” can be adopted together. As you can see from their pic together, they are just precious.

Approx. birth date: 02/06/2014
