My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Bonnie ! I am about 2 to 3 years old and about 45 lbs.  I am a Retriever/Terrier mix.  I was abandoned by my owners and brought into foster care. I have completed my heartworm treatment but have to continue my monthly heartworm prevention so I didn't get heartworms again.     I am a happy, affectionate and sweet dog that LOVES attention from my humans. I am a little anxious, so will be able to hang out with my humans wherever you are at in the house all the time.    I would love a home with an    active, calm, patient recently retired couple with or without children over 12 years old and another companion dog.     I will do best with someone who is always home or works from home.  No apartments!! I will need continued leash, and obediance training.   For information on how to adopt me, please contact my foster parents at info@dogdiggityrescue.com.

L&S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic.

All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with Paws Without Borders and other rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Please contact us to ask about our adoption process and our adoption fees.
