Facts about Remmington

  • Breed: Great Pyrenees
  • Color: White - With Black
  • Age: Young
  • Size: X-Large 101 lbs (46 kg) or more
  • Sex: Male
I took Remington in about 3 months ago after I was contacted because he was hit by a car and the family was not going to and could not afford vet bills. He is guestimated to be right under a year of age. From the accident he suffered a broken femur and they thought they would have to amputate his back leg. But after taking him to the orthopedic surgeon she informed us the bones had fused together (not properly) but the leg was not causing any distress so we could leave it on. If it started to give him problems then we could have the amputation performed. Other than that, Remi has no other known medical issues. He is heartworm negative and I just had him fixed last month.

He is a great dog, very calm temperament when he is the only dog around. I have 2 other bigger dogs and they seem to get a little rough when playing but nothing serious. He does show food aggression around other dogs but not towards humans. We assume he was chained up at his previous home because walking on a leash is a struggle. Also, due to his injury hard wood floors are also a very big obstacle for him. Adoption Fee $350

Our Adoption Process...

We do ask for a adoption fee per pet to help with the cost of all the vetting we do. The process begins with a adoption application then a Home visit then the Meet & Greet with the animal
We do not adopt to people who are going to leave the dog outside to live.. All our pets must live inside the home with the family. We do require a fenced in yard for all German Shepherds & Huskies.
