Hoshi is a beautiful 2 y/o who was found stray in southern Texas. She was lucky that a volunteer at that small shelter let her hitch a ride to Houston to find a new home. Hoshi is a standard 15 inches and has filled out to a nice 28 pounds.

Hoshi has been waiting for her chance at a family of her own for over two months. She was ill with heart worms, but is all recovered now. She is running with the boys after squirrels most of the day without a hint of a cough! This girl loves to run and play. She can get a little carried away, but settles down easily once she burns some of that extra energy off!

Hoshi is housebroken and knows how to use a dog door. She is crate trained but has great manners and is rarely crated at her foster home. She sleeps on a dog bed or a chair in the bedroom at night. She walks fairly well (for a beagle) when on the leash and is looking forward to a family that enjoys taking good long walks!

Hoshi loves attention. At first, she was very needy and constantly wanted to be as close as possible to her human. As she has grown comfortable in her foster home, she is less demanding of your attention. She gives great kisses and will always enjoys a good cuddle when yard patrol has been completed! Hoshi will make a wonderful addition to your family. She will be happiest with another canine companion in the household or an active family that is home often.
