My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Divorce isn’t just hard on humans – sometimes furkids get caught in the crossfire. ANISE was the love of their lives for 10 years until they fell out of love with each other. Held hostage and used as emotional blackmail, ANISE was otherwise ignored and neglected. Her curved nails grew into her pads making every step painful, and she needed urgent eye care. They let ANISE’s teeth rot and fall out, so that her tongue will now forever escape her tiny mouth. Through it all, ANISE patiently maintained her sweet spirit hoping for a happy ending. Sadly, when she was of no more use as a weapon, and the war between her humans was over… ANISE was abandoned at a shelter. ANISE deserves a pain-free life and a family to whom “forever” really means FOREVER – no matter what!
