This past summer Ono was dropped inside our fenced property. She was taken to our veterinarian for a check-up, shots and to be spayed. She has lots of energy and loves to chase squirrels, but never has caught one. For this reason, I do not think cats would appreciate being with her. Ono is quite playful and entertains herself by tossing dog toys, twigs, pieces of wood and so forth. She does play with our large dog who tires out sooner than she does. Ono is an explorer and needs a home with a completely fenced yard. She does like to lick and when we had our horses, she would goes nose to nose with my horse and they would lick each other. Ono is an outdoor dog, but she does stay in our garage in cold weather. I feel she could become an indoor/outdoor dog.

We are an older couple and in the near future we plan on downsizing to a smaller home with less land. We already have an older dog who mainly stays inside. We also have two older indoor cats. We have found homes for our horses and need to find a home for Ono. We will keep the animals that we have had for many years, but cannot add Ono to have a forever home with us.

The pound is the last resort for her and we have been stalling on doing this. This would be in desperation if she doesn't get adopted by the time we are ready to move.

Ono--cute, tail wagger, fast runner, energetic, playful, never has attacked, greets everyone with a wag and a lick, beautiful brown eyes.
