Polar Bear's Story...
Bear is a very friendly female Great Pyrenees/Komondor mix. We thought at first she was a sheepdog, but someone familiar with Polar Bear informed us of her true breed mix. This means that she will be very large. Polar Bear is a great dog who loves to play and have her hair brushed. Completely groomed, she is snow white and beautiful. We estimate her age at one year or less, and she is already half again as large as our next largest dog. She is a beauty and a joy. If you are thinking of offering one of our animals a loving, forever home, please do not hesitate to call us at 573-642-7443!

Act quickly to adopt Polar Bear. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Polar Bear, a Fulton Great Pyrenees/Komondor dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/Komondor for sale in Fulton, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/Komondor dog from a breeder in Fulton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fulton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fulton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/Komondor breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/Komondor rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fulton paves the way for another one to be saved.
