Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there! I'm Peggy Sue and I'm delighted to meet you. My foster mom and dad found me wandering in the woods, all alone and scared. They took me in, gave me a much needed bath and lots of nutritious food and rehabilitated me back to the trusting and loving pup I once was. I adore snuggling and will burrow into your lap for as long as you'll allow. I'm very low energy but I do need a lot of physical affection after what I've been through. Because I was on my own for so long, I'm still a little scared of loud noises and fast things so a household without young kids would be best for me. I did spend some time with 6, 9 and 15 year old girls who were very gentle with me and I just loved them! So, older kids might be OK. I live with 3 other dogs who I get along well with, but I don't play with them much so I'd be OK as an only dog too. I'm still trying to figure out cats, though. At first I thought they were my best friends but now I bark at them. I may get used to them over time, once I realize they won't hurt me. Will you love me forever?
XOXOXO-Peggy Sue
