URGENT Courtesy Post
This stunning stunning boy is one year old and in urgent need of a new home. He is currently located in Kittanning PA. Unfortunately Zeus's family didn't quite know what they were getting into when they got him. He has significant resource guarding, typical adolescent obnoxious behavior and is not really dog friendly, although he has potential in the right hands. He is not able to be well-managed currently in an apartment setting with a nine month old infant and a toddler. He has no room to run or play and mom does not have any time for him. He is not neutered (which will be required for adoption) I have instructed them they need to get him an utd rabies shot. He is microchipped and has his other vaccinations current. Zeus has had limited exposure to other dogs although he does spend some time with a small Shih Tzu in the family. His play behavior is very rambunctious and my opinion with limited information is he could get very carried away or another larger dog could be very annoyed by his over the top play behavior and poor doggy manners. Unfortunately I have not been able to get a really good assessment on him but because this is urgent I'm posting what I know. I am very concerned about where this dog is going to end up. He will need a decent exercise program and some rock solid training. He is young and beautiful and I'm sure he could learn with the proper structure. He is good with the little ones except he is large and rambunctious. He is good with people in general. They say that he has some guarding Behavior with other with dogs with his food. Please message me if you think you might be able to help Zeus. They are anxious for him to move on and I really want to see him move to an appropriate home.
