Important Note

Ernest Hemingway is best friends with Modigliani. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Ernest Hemingway and Modigliani were born around 12/25/07. They are miniature mountain lions trimmed in white, and are from one of the litters of "box kittens" that were left outside Spoiled Brats.
They are always curled up together and would like to be adopted together. Modi has a food allergy and requires special food. He has a bit more of the Abyssinian look with light green eyes and Ernest is more Siamese with a close to apple head shape and is a darker shade at his ears and tail base. Their mother is presumed to be a Bengal.

Modi will steal any pen or pencil or straw that he can get his paws on. Ernest MUST HAVE every piece of paper that is wadded up. If you don't give it to him he will fish it out of the waste basket. He is also the most talkative and will carry on long involved conversations and tell you terrible stories.
Both are cuddly and like to burrow under the covers. Ernest is a real head rubber, gets on my shoulders and emphatically rubs his head against mine.

About Anjellicle Cats Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Anjellicle Cats Rescue is a no-kill, all-volunteer,
not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. We are a member
of the Mayor's Alliance and a New Hope Partner with
the New York Animal Care & Control (ACC). For over ten years, this Hell's Kitchen shelter has been a lifeline
for abandoned, stray, and neglected cats and kittens.
In addition, we work closely with the ACC to pull out
those who are in danger of being euthanized due to
overcrowding. Each one is welcomed with kindness and medical attention, with the goal of placement into a permanent, loving home.

Well-known within the Broadway community, we have been featured on Fox 5 Morning Show, New York 1 Television and in Time Out magazine. We always enjoy meeting new volunteers and people who share our mission -- to compassionately rescue, care for and place New York City's homeless cats and kittens.

Come in today to see our "cat room" and maybe you'll
find a new friend -- one of our truly "Anjellicle

Come Meet Our Pets...

If you've found the cat of your dreams and wish to begin the adoption process, you only need to call or email Anjellicle Cats Rescue and arrange to meet a representative at Spoiled Brats, 340 W. 49th St.. Adoptions are done by appointment although there is usually someone on site every evening from 6 - 8pm.

Our Adoption Process...

Once you've filled out an application, someone will go through an adoption package with you with updated information on cat care. We require a donation of $125 for one cat or $225 for two. The kitten or cat will then be personally delivered to their new home.

All cats have been tested for the Feline Leukemia and FIV virus, vaccinated with FVRCP (3 in 1) and spayed or neutered. We believe it is much kinder to adopt kittens with another kitten or cat unless there is already a cat in their new household.
