Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Zelda just turned 1. She arrived from Kansas with some badly broken and dislocated toes that required surgery. She is not small dog or cat tolerant. ZeeZee is healed up now.
What a cute little doll this one is. She had surgery to correct the damage to her back paw, but it didn't let that stop her from exploring. She is on the stubborn side if she doesn't want to walk somewhere...she won't move. She is so happy, gives kisses, loves hugs, has been hanging out in the house and not in the crate. She is just curious about everything. She loves to lay down in the dirt out back. We are working through everything doesn't go in her mouth.
If she had 4 normal paws, she would be on the kitchen counter eating everything she could. She is a baby and you can see that, but what a joy she is. She has had no accidents in her crate, loves treats and gets her pain meds in bratwurst...that is a highlight for her day.
FOSTER UPDATE:
You may remember me. A couple weeks ago I posted an x-ray of my crazy broken foot. Since then, I've had surgery to fix it. Thank you everyone who donated on Arizona Gives Day or any other day! Love you!
I have to stay in my wire house almost all the time while my toes heal. I just turned one year old in February, so I'm just a puppy. It's hard to stay cooped up so long.
Every time my foster mom let's me out to stretch my legs, I grab another toy or shirt to drag back to my lair. I LOVE squeaky toys and smushy toys I can snuggle with.
Foster mommy calls me a "collector" and says I'm going to run out of space in my house soon. I'm not worried. I'll just lie on top of the toys if I have to.
I just turned a year old in February, so I have LOTS of puppy energy to expend. I would love to find a foster or foster home with another playful doggie. I can't wait to be a pet dog!!!! I'll pack my toys now. Come get me!
