My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there, I’m Faith! I’m an 11-month old, Labrador mix gal from the deep south and let me tell you have a very special story, because I’m a very special girl. My story begins several months ago when I was found on the side of the road in rural KY by a very nice lady. My previous owners left me there to fend for myself with just two Tupperware containers- one with some water and one with some old food, and a moldy old pillow. Like the good girl I am, I sat exactly where the left me, just waiting and waiting for them to come back to get me. I didn’t understand why they left but I just knew that someone would save me and eventually someone did  A nice lady recorded my save on a video and it touched so many people for so many reasons- that I was left alone and just sat there on my old pillow, but also that when the lady approached me I sat up and my tail started going 100mph I was so excited! I was taken to the doggie doctor and they said I had this thing called Demodex Manage that made me real itchy and I was missing some hair. (Don’t worry I’m all better from that now)
From there I was placed in a foster home and then traveled all the way up to Northern IL where I currently live with a wonderful, loving foster family. Though I had a rough start in life, you would never know it when you meet me (and trust me you will want to). My foster mom says that I am very smart and a big lover! I would love a home with another dog since I LOVE to play and I would need a fence so I don’t wander off chasing a squirrel. I love to play fetch and I’ll even bring the ball back to you and drop it at your feet so you don’t have to work as hard! I do have allergies…..I mean seriously who doesn’t these days?! My foster mom had me tested and says that my dietary restrictions are easy to follow. But I would need someone to not leave me alone for more than six hours in a day since I have lots of energy and hate being cooped up longer than that. I’m really a great puppy and I love to snuggle with hoomans and my other furry friends and I just know that you will LOVE me when you meet me!
