Solomon's Story...
'Solomon' is a tiny little Chihuahua/Dachshund mix (Chiweenie) approx. 3 years old & weighing around 7lbs. He would be best in a home without small/young children. He is working on housebreaking but is catching on quickly. Solomon is crate trained & does sleep soundly through the night. He is neutered, current on vaccinations, heartworm tested negative, microchipped & is current on preventatives. He is good with cats, also. Solomon loves men, which is a great trait for a little dog! He gets along well with the dogs in his foster home & is very submissive. (DOB: 3.23.14)

*If interested in Solomon, please email SNAPRESCUES@GMAIL.COM to inquire on his availability or to begin the adoption process. This dog is currently in a foster home, NOT at our facility.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Solomon, a China Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in China, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in China.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in China already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a China breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in China paves the way for another one to be saved.
