Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Say hello to Poofy! Can you guess why the staff gave this adorable boy his name? He is just one big ball of poofiness! Not is he just an adorable ball of poof he is one sweet, sweet 10 year old, 14 pound boy who got lost and found himself in a really big and loud place with so many other dogs barking. He does not seem to let that get to him too much, he just sits back and watches all the craziness going on around him. He keeps his cage clean so the shelter staff feels he may be house trained. He came to the shelter on 03/30 and no family has come to fetch him home. He is current on his vaccines and will be tested for heartworms and micro-chipped when adopted. Due to his age he cannot be neutered at the shelter because the shelter vet does not have the equipment for the bloodwork needed for a senior before they are given anesthesia. You will find Poofy waiting in cage 323 and his ID# is 594915.
When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.
