My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, everyone! Peyton here. You might have seen photos in February of my brother, Manning, at me at the kill shelter — we were absolutely terrified. That, of course, caught everyone’s attention. Doggie Harmony pulled us, and we are being fostered here at GA JRT Rescue, so there is a dual-rescue effort to get us adopted and into a happy home in which we can grow — in every way.

We’re both young brothers who were not socialized much before we were surrendered. We are all we know and all of this stuff was new and scary to us, especially for me. I am the smaller, less-confident of the two of us. New sounds and people were a little scary, but we have been socialized daily with different people, dogs, and experiences and, because we’re young, have learned to warm up quickly and grow. I’m feeling much more confident these days.

I am in great shape, health wise — UTD on shots, heartworm negative, young (maybe a year or so), and ready to roll to the right person(s).
