Yeah, yeah, I know Sweetheart is such a generic name for a special girl like me—but the truth is there is no better way to describe me. I truly am a sweetheart. A bit unsure at first, but give me a few moments to warm up to you and you’ll see my sweetness shine through. See I’ve spent far too long in rescue, and that can take its toll—being passed over so many times for so many months can make a girl feel less than special! I think it’s about time someone made me feel special! Maybe that person can be you? Are you a patient person without cats or young children longing for a loyal and dedicated sidekick? Well, that sounds just perfect! I get along very well with other dogs, am crate trained and housebroken already, and I’m still a great age to learn everything else you have to teach me. But let’s get one thing straight: there ain’t nothing more you can teach me about being a Sweetheart; I just need to learn a little trust. 5½ years old-67lbs. My adoption is $180 and includes microchip & registration, spay, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.
