Selena is a lively, playful puppy; she’s full of curiosity, loves to explore around. She has a loving nature; always approaches strangers with a big smile and wagging tail. She gets along with people of all ages, dogs and cats. Selena is a cute looking little fella, with a slim build. Outdoor activities are her favorite, but she also likes to cuddle with her humans and hang out with other dogs.

Selena and her siblings were deserted by a bush on the roadside. They scavenged for food scraps, seemed to have been totally ignored by the society. Poor puppies were so emaciated, their filthy coat covered by fleas and ticks. Luckily, a volunteer did not have the heart to walk away from these innocent lives, she arranged them with foster homes and prepared them for adoption. Selena is one of the lucky puppies.

Under loving care for a couple months, Selena got a clean bill of health. She is spayed, with up to date vaccinations and microchip. She is ready for her forever home. How she longs for a home of her own and family members to share her love with!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Selena, a San Mateo Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in San Mateo, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in San Mateo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Mateo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Mateo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Mateo paves the way for another one to be saved.
