Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Louie is a very handsome boy, about 2 years old, who would do great in a household that will spoil him to pieces. He's had a lot happen to him in his young life. He was picked up as a stray by an independent rescuer at 6 months old and she found him a new home in the neighborhood. Over a year later, she saw a cat that looked like Louie in her yard again. She took him in and checked his microchip, and lo and behold, it was Louie. Well, as the story goes, he was reportedly teased and tormented by 2 small children in his home and he started to scratch them in an attempt to escape. The family ultimately just kicked Louie back outside, and he eventually found his way back to his original rescuer's home!
Once with Adopt-a-Pet, Louie was placed in a temporary foster home who said that he was a gentle boy, and once he settled in he was always looking for attention. Head butting and lots of purrs! Because of his former bad experiences with children, we are recommending that he go to an adults-only home or with older, gentle, respectful children.
Louie's adoption fee of $115 includes: vet exam, Feleuk/Fiv test, FVRCP (distemper combo) vaccination, rabies vaccination, flea/tick control, routine deworming, microchip and neuter.
