Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Georgie is a large boy with beautiful unique leopard spots on most of his body. He’s 5 years old with lots of love yet to give and confidently will greet you at the door every time you enter. Fairly independent, he is just as happy spending time with you as he is contentedly bird watching out the window on his own time. Georgie is quite affectionate and loves to snuggle, as long as you leave his belly alone. He also likes to be brushed, play with toys, and will carry his favorite toys around in his mouth. He was a bit stressed in a home with small children and another cat, so we'd like to find him a home where he's the only cat and only with older, cat-savvy children. We are not sure if he'd adapt to living with dogs. In his foster home, he doesn’t really like to be picked up but will climb into any laps available, especially the older child’s lap. He has a deep voice and purr and loves to chat with you. Georgie would be an excellent companion in any cat-friendly, quiet home. You can meet Georgie at Petsmart in Manhattan!
All kitties go to their new owners spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and are negative for FIV/FeLV. The adoption fee is $75. If you are interested in adoption or have any questions, please contact info@rchsks.org.
