Greetings fellow humans…..
Some folks have a wish list that they may put out there for Xmas, or birthday, or just when the time is right. Rescue groups always get these requests for young puppies or large dogs. Well, here at Simply Shepherds Rescue…. We can fill that request, if you are the right family.
Meet TANK…….. This knock-dead gorgeous dude is a pure bred all black german shepherd. Mother Nature thought she would design him a bit different and chose to send all the calcium he got to his bone structure and not the cartilage in his ears. He will have permanent floppy ears. But that just makes him more loveable. This big guy is approx. 85lbs at 15months, and will be between 90-100lbs by the age of 2yrs. Tank spent the first 9months of his life in the country with his 3brothers and a sister. Had a great time goofing off, fed well, and not a care in the world… did as he pleased. When he could no longer live there, his humans looked for rescue. Tank is a gentle giant that accepts humans, other dogs, but has to learn boundaries. He has learned sit, is housetrained, crate trained, rides well in the car. That’s it. His brain cells are that of an 6mo old pup. That’s where the puppy comes in. He needs to learn come when called, don’t walk on the furniture, stay out of the garbage, leave the plastic bags alone, no counter surfing…. Just to name a few. Once those brain cells are developed, the sky is the limit!!! Because, he is a german shepherd. There will be plenty of mishaps and yet more adventures and funny tales to share.
