NO CHILDREN IN A HOME for this cocker boy puppy.
My name is Buck. I am a black neutered cocker spaniel puppy just shy of a year old. I was surrendered to a NC Shelter by my owner. They got me as a young pup from a breeder. As a youngster growing up, I needed guidance to become a good companion. My family was not dog savy on how to train me properly so I did not do well with their children and would snap at them. This said, I need to find a new forever home WITH NO CHILDREN. Here at CCR, I have learned to play with some of the cockers and I have done well. I actually have a best cocker buddy that I enjoy hanging out with and we play together too.
I am heartworm negative, about 27 pounds and current on vet needs. When I first came to rescue I was a very needy dog, would jump on you and I wanted attention all the time. Now, I have calmed down considerably. I am a good boy, I love attention and I would enjoy spending quality time with you in a loving home environment. When I meet you for the first time, I am leery at first, so just give me a few minutes and I will warm up to you. I will need your help with socialization and some minor anxiety issues to be a good companion. I cannot be placed into a home with children, they make me nervous with quick movements and I do not do well playing with them. Please give me a 2nd chance to be adopted into a home with someone who will appreciate and love me for the special boy puppy that I am.
