Bessie's Story...
Bessie is a 4 year old female border collie who was surrendered to us because of a new baby. Bessie is a very loving girl, she needs her person, she does not do well with out people. Bessie knows basic commands, she is not a barker. She s ok with cats, if they run she will chase them. Bessie needs some one gentle, patience and wants to spoil her. She does get fearful if someone corners her and makes sudden moves she may nip in self defense. A home without children is suggested. If you are interested in Bessie and more information on adoption process, please contact journeyhomerescue@outlook.com

Bessie, a E. Wenatchee Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in E. Wenatchee, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in E. Wenatchee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in E. Wenatchee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a E. Wenatchee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in E. Wenatchee paves the way for another one to be saved.
