Bear's Story...
Hi, my name is Bear! Which is funny because I'm tiny and white - more like a polar bear.
I'm a 13 week old sweet boy who loves to cuddle and play. I love to run and play chase with balls and toys. I m more passive in nature and get along with the other small dogs and cats in my foster home. I really just want to play with everyone! After playtime, I enjoy cuddling up and sitting on a nice warm lap. Foster mom says I'm making good progress towards crate training and will go potty outside when taken. If you're ready for some fun puppy time with me, please complete an application. Bear has his puppy shots, on heart worm preventative, microchipped, de-wormed, and neutered. Bear’s adoption fee is $350.00. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport, WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. For events calendar and adoption application please go to our website at aaprescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bear, a Bridgeton Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Bridgeton, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Bridgeton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bridgeton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bridgeton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bridgeton paves the way for another one to be saved.
