Macey's Story...
Macey female DOB 7-28-14 was adopted 2015 returned due to family allergies 2017
If you are looking for a companion and some entertainment in your life, I am
your girl. I like to be with my human and watch over you. I had a little
girl for the past two years, but then she became allergic to me. So, here I
am back in foster care and looking for what I hope will be a "forever" home
this time. My foster mom tells me that I am too smart for my own good. We
talk about it frequently since I am usually by her side, or, if she is busy,
I watch over her. Sometimes I am up high watching and sometimes I just
sneak a peek to make sure all is well. Temptations are my favorite treats.
My litterbox manners are good and I will greet you when you come home.

If you would like to know more about me, call Carol on 410-495-7839. She takes
my calls, but sometimes I like to talk into the phone also.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Macey, a Port Republic Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Port Republic, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Port Republic.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Port Republic already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Port Republic breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Port Republic paves the way for another one to be saved.
