Shiloh's Story...
Shiloh is ready to find his forever home! Shiloh is an adorable 4 month old shepherd mix pup who can be timid when meeting new people, but with time and trust his true puppy personality shows! Shiloh isn't much of a social butterfly and will need a home that is committed to working on his social skills and developing his confidence around other people and dogs. He loves running around and playing with his 3 foster siblings and is amazing at holding his bladder for a puppy his age! Once he is comfortable he's got quite the spunky personality and has very adorable quirks like repeatedly rolling over if he's excited or leaping as high as he can in the air! Shiloh is a sweet pup with big ears and wants nothing more than a forever family that will help him find his confidence in this big world!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shiloh, a Salem Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Salem, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
