Milo's Story...
Milo is 7 month old Chow mix who's a big fluff ball of fun and love. It's hard to know what to do first - give him a hug or play with him. He LOVES it all! Milo is handsome and oh, so furry! He is playful, good on a leash, and knows "sit". He is very food motivated..... can't get enough of the treats, so should be an easy pup to train. Milo is looking for a playmate, best buddy, and a place to call home. Is Milo the one for you? Please come meet Milo at Harbor Shelter, ID# A0989338.

Act quickly to adopt Milo. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milo, a San Pedro Golden Retriever/Chow Chow puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Chow Chow for sale in San Pedro, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Chow Chow puppy from a breeder in San Pedro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Pedro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Pedro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Chow Chow breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Pedro paves the way for another one to be saved.
