VANDY's Story...
There are six adorable puppies in this litter and each one of them is just as friendly, happy and loving as they can be. They love to run and play, eat, nap and play again. Unfortunately their Mom was dumped in a local kill shelter right before she was to give birth. We managed to get her and the puppies out a few days later and they have been great every since. They are good puppies too, not so hyper you can’t love on them and they all get along with each other really well. Their Mom is a full blooded Lab weighing 62 lbs, but not sure what Dad was (maybe a Shepherd mix). Vandy is sure to bring about a lot of fun to some lucky family. He was born 1/21/17 making him 11 weeks old and weighing 17.5 pounds (biggest in the litter) at the time of this posting (4/10/17). He has been neutered, microchipped, fecal tested, current on all vaccines, worming and on heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400.

Vandy is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the New England area every week and his fee does include transportation.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

VANDY, a Bedminster Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Bedminster, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Bedminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
