Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jasmine and Jeffrey were left in an empty apartment for weeks, sometimes neighbors came by to feed them, eventually one contacted us to take them in after it became clear that their owners were never returning. Both were covered in ticks, taking hours to remove. Jeffrey bears the most obvious signs of neglect, aside from all of the ticks he was emaciated, his ears and paws are bald and his nails grew into talons. Despite all both have been through they have amazingly sweet personalities. Jeffrey though initially wore out and a little lethargic has found his spunk - he is a talker, he will have conversations with you in his vocalizations. As you can see from the top left photo, he wants to play! He loves kisses and affection. Jasmine is a bit more on the timid side but once her buddy Jeffrey was with her she came right out of her shell and engaged the volunteer who was photographing her. Jeffrey is about 4-5 years old and Jasmine is 1-2 years old. These two will be looking for their forever homes shortly.
If you are interested in meeting any Poochmatch dog at our weekly adoption event on Saturdays at the Petsmart in Yorba Linda, CA (5521 Mirage St.) between 1-5 PM, please fill out an application from our website, poochmatch.com, and return it via email to poochmatch@hotmail.com no later than 11 AM on Fridays. Due to the high volume of dogs and puppies in our foster homes, it is impossible to bring them all every Saturday. The only way to ensure that the dog that you are interested in will be at the adoption event is to FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that the dog you are interested in will be at our adoption event. If you cannot make the time frame of our events, appointments can be made at another time and location solely at the discretion of the foster parent.
All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, necessary vaccinations, fecal testing and deworming. Adoption fees vary solely based on age and size.
