My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

She has her eyes on you! And what large, gentle eyes they are. The sweet soul of shyness, kindhearted Katy has been making marvelous progress, paw step by positive paw step, in her patient and attentive foster home. Slowly but surely, she’s been gaining confidence, from learning to go in and out the back door to stretching her shapely legs and running happily with the other dogs there. Unable to sleep at first in her new surroundings, she soon learned to relax when covered with a blanket or T-shirt, and now sleeps peacefully through the night. Although left with only one tooth, she’s now a light but lusty eater who enjoys munching on hard food as much as taking small treats from her foster parents’ hands. She’s grown more tolerant of being petted, but she’s still anxious when people approach her and finds being held very stressful. Having come so far, and with a ways yet to go, this shyest of sweethearts requires a home where, with time, tenderness and patience, the last of her fears will be dispelled and the true loving Katy revealed.
