Say hello to Java! This cute little muffin is black and white, and she is 6 years old. Her face has the longest white whiskers, and her huge green eyes are stunning. Java is a little on the chunky side, so she would love to run omn your treadmill when you're not using it! She has a "scratchy" little meow that makes everyone smile. She can be a little sassy at times, so it is for this reason Java would do best a home with no dogs, cats or kids. Java wants attention so much, but does get over-stimulated. It's best to let her come to you. For this reason, this little beauty is hoping for a patient and loving family who will give her the time and understanding that she would need to flourish. A quiet, laid back home would be ideal. Do you have room in your heart for this sweet baby? She is at the shelter now, and would love to meet you. Please call the shelter at 603-628-3544 to make an appointment to meet this awesome girl.

About Friends of Manchester Animal Shelter

About Our Shelter...

We believe all animals are deserving of life, respect and care. Our goal is zero-population-growth through spay/neuter programs and services that focus on education, medical care, fostering and adoption. Friends of Manchester Animal Shelter is a non-profit organization which started in 1996. The shelter takes in homeless, abused, and abandoned animals in the city of Manchester. We provide shelter, medical care, and spay/neuter to every animal that comes through our doors. In operation for nearly two decades, the shelter has helped provide care and find loving homes for over 20,000 animals.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Both dogs and cats and other pets we may have available for adoption can be met at the Friends of Manchester Animal Shelter at 490 Dunbarton Rd in Manchester.

We also rescue southern dogs several times a month. These dogs go into foster homes as they wait to be adopted. Applications can be filled out at the shelter at 490 Dunbarton Rd. Once approved a meeting will be set up.

We also have cats at PetSmart at 777 South Willow Street in Manchester NH. PetSmart Adoption hours are Monday - Friday 6-8 PM (except Wed) and weekends 1-3 PM. In addition we have cats at Petco in Manchester. You can meet them anytime during store hours, just ask for a manager.
