Lillabeth's Story...
Lillabeth is a 15 month old Chihuahua mix. This sweet girl was adopted in December by a mother that wanted a dog to break through her daughter's special needs. They returned her to us saying "the daughter didn't bond with Lillabeth". It's hard for us to comprehend because Lillabeth is a loving, happy, gentle, quiet girl. We're glad she's back in our hands so we can make sure Lillabeth gets the Forever Home she so deserves. It's very hard on a dog to go to a home and then be returned but Lillabeth knows she's loved and cherished here so she's doing well. She loves playing with her roommate, Panda and she's going to bring years of happiness to some lucky home. In the meantime, we're making sure she knows she didn't do anything wrong that she's precious and a good girl! She's up to date on all her vaccinations and ready to go to her for sure Forever Home. Got Love?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lillabeth, a Tavares Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Tavares, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Tavares.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tavares already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tavares breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tavares paves the way for another one to be saved.
