My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jasper is looking for a home in St. Louis, Missouri.

If you are a gentle and patient person, Jasper in ready to be your adored pet.

Until recently, he was living as a feral cat. There were no cuddles or cat toys, and he learned to be vigilant. Luckily for him, a kind woman began feeding him. Over time, Jasper grew to trust her. When his eye became injured and then ruptured, his human friend reached out to us to get medical care for him.

Our trusted vet removed Jasper's eye, which was beyond saving. Jasper tested positive for FIV and was also diagnosed with bladder stones. He will need to be on a prescription food to keep the stones from returning.

Meanwhile, in foster care, Jasper has learned to use the litter box perfectly. He's a well- mannered gentleman who appreciates gentle petting. He’s still shy, but he's getting there!

Jasper's hoping to soon meet his human soulmate and settle into the warm fleece throw you have on your lap.
