Packer's Story...
04-12-17 This beautiful litter of pups are 6 weeks old, social, playful and ready for homes of their own. Dad is a boxer mix and mom is a beautiful Red Bone Hound. We've worked with the family to get the parents spayed / neutered and now we just need to find great homes for these 8 adorable pups.

They're going to be fairly big dogs, probably 60-70 lbs. The pups have had first vaccines and have been wormed As soon as they are old enough, they will be spayed / neutered and microchipped.

If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting one of our dogs, we ask that you please go to our website and fill out an application. www.northmeckanimalrescue.org

Our adoption fee $225 includes spay/neuter, parvo/distemper series of shots, rabies if dog is old enough, bordatello, heartworm preventative while here, worming, and microchipping.

We appreciate your patience as our volunteer-only team reviews your application and updates our website.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Packer, a Charlotte Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
