My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dixie is a 2 -year-old spayed female black lab. Dixie 51 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.

Apr 9, 2017: Dixie is a flirt, she is delightful, full of personality, she loves to be with you and to get petted. She has just come in and is a little shy for the first few minutes she meets you. If you don't pay attention she will come up behind you and bump you so you will give her some attention. Hasn't retrieved yet but likes to play with Nylabone's and Kong's. Dixie would like an owner who will give the attention, love and exercise she needs. Should have a fenced yard as she was a stray.
Kids 10 and up as we don't have history. Good with other dogs has been out with other LR pups at the kennel with no problems. No cat history. Knows sit, come down. Pulls on lead a little when walking better with an Easy Walk Harness. Crate trained, may be house trained as she is keeping her room clean at the kennel.

Dixie - 2 year old black spayed female. Up to date on vaccines. Heartworm Positive, Lab Rescue will pay for Heartworm treatment at one of our authorized vets
