Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I’m Mocha (or Riley by other name). I am 1 yr old on April 14,2017, spayed, part English Shepherd and part Lab. I was born at the rescue in my TN Foster mom's home so I have had the kind of love and attention that most rescues wish they had. The white spot in the iris of my eye has no impact on my vision and my eye is perfectly normal and healthy (verified by vet). and appears in breeds like English Shepherds and other herding breeds. I am a healthy happy girl. I’m still a young dog and love to play with other dogs and my humans (fetch, Frisbee, ball). I love to swim too - in lake, pond or pool. I’m not a barker except when giving a warning that there is a perceived threat to my home or my family. Delivery men carrying boxes/bags will be greeted with some barking. I would like a family with a stay at home Mom - with or without older children. I play fine with other dogs, but might be a little too rambunctious for smaller or older dogs or small children. I expect I will mellow out as I get older and don’t have so much energy. I am comfortable with traffic noise, trucks, snow plows, buses. I am fully house trained and do not chew the furniture or rugs. I am not a food guarder. I am also crate trained and use the crate for getting away from it all and taking my daily naps. I am tough on toys, so you would need to get me a Kong and a couple of marrow bones to keep me entertained – as they are indestructible. I would need a fenced in yard.
I have been living with a trainer for the past month and she has taught me a whole ton of stuff! I go to puppy classes with her, play with her dogs and play fetch with her husband. I'm living the good life but need a home of my own.
If you want to adopt me, ask for an application from Adorable Dogs Rescue at adrescue2014@gmail.com My fee is $395.00 and because the Rescue is a charity, this fee is tax deductible.
