Puppy #8's Story...
Anyone remember sweet Poppy who was up for adoption not long ago? She found her family but little did we know she was starting her own! She came into Suite Angel Rescue pregnant with 9 pups, we couldn't even tell because since she was so skinny, she just looked like a healthy weight. She had her spay appointment when her family who adopted her noticed her teets growing and decided to get an ultrasound. Now we have these sweet babies, and although many of them look like girls now, that might change as they get a little older ;) We have no idea what their dad looks like. They will be available around the 1st week of June, and their adoption comes with up to date shots, microchip, a spay/neutering, and a home check.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Puppy #8, a Salem German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Salem, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
